We're thrilled you are considering Emily Mayne Studio for your Big Day! Whether you opt for a base design from our Collection or go completely Custom, here is what you can expect.
Getting Started
-
1. INQUIRY
Start the ConversationWe’d love to hear about your vision and learn more about your wedding—whatever your style may be. This is the first step in getting to know one another and exploring how we can bring your invitation suite to life.
To get started, please complete our inquiry form or reach out via email at info@emilymayne.com. We look forward to learning more about your celebration!
-
2. QUESTIONNAIRE
We’ll send you our invitation guide and a design questionnaire. This step helps us learn more about your style, wedding details, and overall vision.
Using your selections, we’ll create a custom proposal with a detailed quote and timeline, and send a sample box so you can experience paper and printing options firsthand. We can also schedule a phone call to walk through everything together and get to know each other more personally.
-
3. DESIGN PROOF
Once you’re ready to move forward, a $500 design deposit reserves your place on our calendar and marks the beginning of your custom invitation suite.
On your scheduled proof date, you’ll receive a comprehensive digital design proof showcasing your complete invitation suite. This initial presentation brings your vision to life and serves as the foundation for thoughtful refinement in the revision phase.
4. THE REVISION PHASE
Once your initial invitation suite design is presented, we enter the revision phase—where refinement and intention take center stage.
This is a collaborative stage of the process, allowing us to thoughtfully adjust any elements of the design to ensure it feels entirely aligned with your vision. During this time, we can explore changes such as refining the color palette, testing alternative fonts, adjusting layout and spacing, selecting a different envelope color, or adding (or simplifying) illustrated details.
The goal of revisions is not to reinvent the design, but to elevate it—polishing each detail until the suite feels cohesive, timeless, and unmistakably you.
5. PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Once final approval is received, your invitation suite moves into production. Production timelines range from 2–6 weeks, depending on the selected printing method and enhancements.
We oversee the printing process and quality checks before your invitations are delivered to you for stuffing, stamping, and mailing.
If you're opting for the full experience, wedding day-of paper goods, such as programs, menus, and napkins, follow the same design and production process and typically begin 6–8 weeks prior to the wedding day.
